Plan executed

I know! I have been a blog slacker. I do have an excuse though I have been in Indiana for the last four days helping a friend take pictures for a wedding. While there, I went on a six mile hike, around a huge lake known as Tipsaw aka a place to get nasty turkey ticks. And am I ever paying for it. Do they do hip replacements for people my age? It did however jump start my work out/exercise/get my big fat butt in my bridesmaid dress plan. Tonight after supper, Candace(the other depressed bridesmaid) and I went on our brisk 30 minute walk around the neighborhood. I will keep you posted on that one and I will be posting an updated picture of "the dress." dun...dun....dunnnnnnnnnnn! Is that how you spell the dramatic dun dun?

Bridesmaid Dresses and Pandemonium

I received a call from my friend Candace, whom is in a wedding with me on Nov. 10th. She called in a panic and said, "My dress doesn't fit!" Since we ordered our dresses,(less than a month ago) the same time, we collaboratively decided that I should try on my dress too. After jumping up, down, around, and plopping myself on the floor, Craig, my hubby, insisted that there was no way on earth it would fit. I tell Candace, "low and freakin behold it doesn't fit me either." I'm not saying their just a little snug on us, they both will not zip past mid-back. As I'm sure you have a heard David's Bridal has a NO EXCHANGE OR RETURN POLICY. As I recall, Candace and I tried on a size bigger in the store and the DB's employee insisted that we go down a size. We followed her advice and "wallah" they fit BOTH of us perfect. No alterations required. I guess we will be on a hardcore diet the next several because apparently in the process of shipping they shrink...

Fyi- I will not be telling the Bride.

Mac skillz and coffee

O.k. so I am not as good with imovie as I thought I would be. I actually suck at it. I've only messed with it on a few occasions so maybe I will get it eventually. I think I'm going to have to invite Mr. Sledd over to give me a crash course. Since, he is know for his Mac skills. However, I have almost mastered the iweb feature and I have successfully finished the first four pages of my website. Woot! Woot! It should be available very, very, soon. On to other news, I had a very chilled day, loads of Chinese food, and my new favorite drink Burger King's BK Mocha Joe iced coffee. YUMMY! Starbuck's quality at a po' girl's price.
Side note-Burger King's mascot is the creepiest thing I have ever seen. Wasn't he in the Wizard of Oz?

thine plate is full, my cupeth runneth over, school's a brick and I'm drowning slowly.

Well, it is official school is about to be the death of me. Of course right now, I am blogging instead of doing the ever so plentiful, cornicopia of various assigments and tests that are due in the next 24 hours. I just had to update you on a few things. For some crazy reason I have picked the busiest time of my life to complete a decent chunk of life goals.

1.)start a new full time job (insert check)

2.)blog (insert check)

3.) start painting again (insert check)

4.) finish school (insert check! check! in approx. 2 years)

5.) have a collection of my paintings displayed in a local art gallery

6.) start a design show on youtube( in the works, can't wait to share!)

Here is one of my paintings, be nice... i have just began painting and me and Van Gough, well , umm... not quite comparable.
