This pumkin is my pride and joy. After hours of gut plucking and a few choice words, I completed this pumkin masterpiece. In case you are wondering what it is, it's a haunted house. In the top left hand corner there was supposed to be a bat but at two in the morning I got a little knife happy! I had a Halloween party this past Friday and I carved pumkins to be centerpieces. I can't wait to post all the pics from the party! I reminisced while carving, remembering all the years in my childhood that I got to pick out a pumkin every year. I didn't remember how horrible the smell of pumkin guts are. I am still trying to get the stink out of the house. If you want some patterns to carve your own, just google free pumkin carving patterns. I printed a few patterns and cut the outside of the pattern out, taped it on the pumkin, and started carving.
