A cockroach will live nine days without its head, before it starves to death.

It is possible to lead a cow upstairs...but not downstairs.
(So, was the stranded cow really stranded?) Side note: I almost cried that it closed.
The reason firehouses have circular stairways is from the days when the engines were pulled by horses. The horses were stabled on the ground floor and figured out how to walk up straight staircases.

Coffee and Computers don't mix

Have you ever had those weeks or months for that matter where every thing seems to be going crazy? Picture it, I am enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee that is made up primarily of cream and sugar. I am on a call on my cell phone and my work phone starts to ring. As I hang up the work phone I go to grab the cell and my hand hits the coffee in such away that it flys into the air and comes down as a giant coffee fountain. When I contacted the computer dude about my tragedy this was his email back to me,
"Stephanie,
You need to stop using this computer immediately if you haven't already. Did you have cream or sugar in your coffee? It's worse if you did. The sugar can actually eat through circuits and components."
That sounded scary...considering I was guilty on both counts.

Life is like the Hokey Pokey.
You put your right foot in, you put your right foot out, you put your right foot in and you shake it all about. You do the hokey pokey and you turn your self around, that's what it's all about. For some unknown reason I thought of this anology today. Into my twenties it seems like I have been trying to figure out my purpose. In the midst of it, Iv'e pondered the idea that maybe the search is the purpose. You put your whole self in, you put your whole self out you do this thing called life, that's what its all about.
Maybe, just maybe, if we put our whole selves into finding our purpose we will.
Yours truly,
Stephanie

May God be with them.

I know my blogs are usually light hearted but this struck a chord with me. Due to recent attacks in Kenya, the founders of a wonderful organization known as Project Aids Orphans are in Grave Danger.
I know how easy it is to shuffle these types of things aside, but we have to pop the bubble that we surround ourselves with and forget the phrase "Out of sight, out of mind."
Pray for the people of Kenya as they face these horrific events.
Click here to read more about it where my friend and fellow blogger, explains the situation. http://bizzyblogging.blogspot.com

Holiday's and Rulebreaking
So this year, since Craig had a little time off at New Year's I thought I would surprise him with a trip to Chicago to ring in the New Year. We went a few years ago and absolutely loved it! After he gave me my presents;perfume, white stiletto's,and a hot pink adorable sock hat,(the ones with the strings and the ball on the top.) I kept telling him that I had a present for him and he kept saying, "Baby, it's really o.k. that you didn't get me anything, we weren't supposed to anyway." I, of course laughing on the inside wanted to shout, WERE GOING TO CHICAGO AND YOU ARE CLUELESS! I edited some pics/video and did a little movie of us and all the places we have been this year. Then I put it to our favorite song and at the end it says, lets spend New Year's in a place we both love and he was FLOORED! For those who have just gagged, I apologize.
I really felt lucky the last month or so...or I guess "appreciative," would be the better term.
Yours Truly,
Stephanie
